Taking care of your BJD

  1. Our face ups are hand painted. Please take care when handling the head. You should not touch the face but handle the head by the ears.
  2. Be careful of colored fabric next to the resin, it can leave dye that may not be able to be removed. Denim leaves color behind if it is not prewashed.
  3. When cleaning your doll, use a soft rag or sponge and gently clean the broad areas. If needed, very fine sand paper can be used. Please wear a mask and gloves to sand resin as the fine particles are irritating to the human body.
  4. If you are restringing your doll, please note that the arms are difficult. The metal pieces used do not easily fit through the hollow part of the arm. They must be taken apart and then reattached. If you need assistance, we will restring your doll for free, but you must pay postage both ways. If body parts need to be replaced, there will be a charge for the parts used. You will be consulted prior to any replacements.
  5. If you resell the doll with an adjustment, please notify the buyer out of courtesy.
